Today we visited the Bohemia walled garden to dig up leeks, that the school have grown. We also planted some daffodils and look forward to caring for them and seeing them grow.
Whilst at the gardens we also walked around the woods on a leaf hunt. The leaves the children found they then rubbed over to see the different patterns. Also the sculptor we are studying is Andy Goldsworthy, therefore we tried to create our own versions of his work out of leaves and twigs.
We are hoping to make leek and potato soup next week with what we picked today!
