On Friday 10th November we carried out an act of remembrance.
Have a look at the wonderful poppies and prayers created by our classes. They all brought their poppies down to add to the central display in the large hall and we held a 2 minute silence. We were very impressed with the way the children behaved and how thoughtful they were as we all came together as a whole school.
Lent Through a Lens
We had lots of lovely entries but the winners of the 'Lent Through a Lens' Competition were;
EYFS - Theodore, who captured the spring sunshine on the hyacinths and the polyanthas.
KS1 - Edie, who took a phot of daffodils set amongst trees with new leaf bursting out.
KS2 - Kit, who captured a stunning picture of magnolias in the morning spring sunshine, catching the light so beautifully.

Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
As many of you know unfortunately we were unable to have our Christmas Enterprise this year. But Year 5 did not let this stop them! In true tradition we stuck with the idea of wooden Christmas Crafts and the children voted we made Snowmen. Whilst Miss Joslin got to work sourcing the wood, the children began brainstorming and creating their designs in order to know what materials we would need. The products turned out brilliantly and the children loved making them! We had lots of people buy them which meant we raised an amazing… £71. Which is amazing especially in such difficult times! A huge thank you to all you parents who made this possible and continued to support us.
